My journey into the world of hair care began with my own struggles with allergies and eczema, which made it challenging to find products that worked for me without causing irritation. This frustration led me to research and develop a unique hair elixir in July 2019, one that not only nourished my hair but also brought it back to health.

Throughout this process, I often shared my progress with my beloved grandmother, Nani. She had been a constant source of support, having witnessed my battles with hair loss and skin issues. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, it was heartbreaking to see her go through the challenges of hair loss again after successfully regrowing it post-chemotherapy in 2019. I knew how much her hair loss affected her confidence and overall quality of life, and I suggested she try my hair elixir to help combat the impending loss. Tragically, she passed away before she could experience the benefits of my creation.

In her honor, I established AKM Hair and Beauty, launching the Strength and Shine Hair Elixir and Moisturise and Grow Beard Oil as my first products. My mission is to provide natural, vegan, organic, and cruelty-free solutions suitable for all ages and hair types, ensuring that Nani's legacy lives on through every bottle.
